If you have multiple computers next to each other, you'll want to check out Synergy, an awesome open source (GPL) application that lets you "share a single mouse and keyboard between multiple computers with different operating systems, each with its own display, without special hardware. It's intended for users with multiple computers on their desk since each system uses its own monitor(s)."
This is awesome for use with my tablet, simply slide the mouse cursor across and I'm mousing and keyboarding on the tablet. Since it's usually in its dock next to my monitor, this works perfect.
Configuration was not exactly intuitive, but once it's going it works great.
A couple months ago I took some pictures with the flash pointed at the ceiling, called bounce flash. You don't get the hard shadows you normally do, instead you get a nice soft shadow directly beneath things. I was quite impressed with the results. Hardly prize winning, but 10x better than you get with the flash directly on the subject:
The flowers, of course, were done by the amazing Lani Hasselfield of Hasselfield Floral.
